Borderline: Writings from Dr Bruce Scott

Writings on psychology, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, politics, religion, spirituality, society and culture. Relying on parrhesia (Greek for fearless speech; risking the risk of free speech) in a world where risk is cultured out. We live in a psychophobic world. Mainstream/alternative media all suffer from the effects of this. At present, the war between good and evil is raging; this is difficult to deny. To speak, to write, to express is a fundamental aspect of being, of being human, in an increasingly inhuman or even trans-human world. One has to to risk to keep the spark alive. All we need is a spark, a flickering ember in a dark world; to have faith in a world where those in power want to erase faith.

Ephesians 6:10-13 KJV

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
